As students head back to campus this fall, we're reflecting on what proved to be an outstanding summer internship program at Bellco's wealth management division. This year, we welcomed three exceptional college students into our wealth management division – two sophomores and one senior – for an intensive 6-8 week journey into the financial services industry.

Throughout the summer, our interns gained hands-on experience working alongside multiple financial advisors and their teams. Rather than limiting them to one perspective, we deliberately rotated them through different advisory practices, allowing them to observe various client interaction styles, portfolio management approaches, and business development strategies.

Professional Development Investment
As part of our commitment to their career development, we provided each intern with the opportunity to pursue their Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam – covering both study materials and exam fees. This foundational certification represents the first step in obtaining securities licensing and gives them a significant competitive advantage as they continue their academic and professional journeys.
The SIE certification demonstrates our belief that investing in proper training and credentials creates better financial professionals who can serve clients with greater confidence and competence.
