My journey in finance began after my time at SDSU, during a transformative period in New York. Being surrounded by the energy of Wall Street opened my eyes to the possibilities within the financial world, and I felt an immediate connection. I started my career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial, where I discovered my passion for helping people understand and grow their wealth. What began as an interest in markets and investments evolved into a meaningful mission—seeing how the right financial guidance could empower people to achieve their goals and help secure their futures. Now, as I lead our wealth management team, I am dedicated to building strong advisors who share this commitment to making a real difference in clients' lives.
While at San Diego State University, participating in an investment club illuminated the profound impact financial planning can have. This early exposure ignited a passion that has only grown stronger over my three-decade career. After obtaining my Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses, along with Life and Health certifications in 1989, I realized my true drive lies not just in the technical aspects of wealth management, but in making a genuine impact on people's lives. Whether mentoring advisors, enhancing client experiences, or developing strategic programs for credit unions, my core mission remains the same: helping individuals build strong financial foundations for themselves and their families.
